Setup

Getting the tool running from scratch

The process takes a few minutes and is nearly identical on Windows and macOS, aside from a couple of shortcut differences.

Steps

1
Go to the developer's official page

It's worth installing only from Skillbrains' official site or your platform's app store — that way there's no risk of getting a modified build.

2
Pick the build for your system

Separate builds exist for Windows, macOS, and Android; Chromium-based browsers have an extension available.

3
Run the installer and follow the prompts

The installer doesn't offer any extra components — pick a folder and confirm.

4
Open settings and check the shortcut

The default on Windows is Print Screen; on Mac it's Shift + Cmd + 9. Either can be changed in settings.

5
Set a folder for saved captures

If you'd rather keep captures local instead of on the server, settings let you turn off automatic upload and choose a save folder.

If the shortcut doesn't respond after install, the FAQ page covers the usual causes of a shortcut conflict.

Once it's installed, the how-to-use page is a good next stop — it covers the core everyday workflows.
